The Agilent 1260 Infinity I HPLC G1322A Degasser is designed to effectively remove dissolved gases from mobile phases, helping ensure stable pump performance and consistent chromatographic results. The system uses a four-channel vacuum container with tubular membrane technology, allowing solvents to pass through gas-permeable membranes where dissolved gases are efficiently removed under controlled vacuum conditions. Vacuum generation and regulation are automatically managed by an internal pump and pressure sensor, which maintain the appropriate vacuum level during operation. The degasser continuously monitors system pressure and adjusts pump activity as needed to keep the vacuum within defined operating limits. Multiple operating modes support reliable degassing under varying conditions, while integrated diagnostics detect abnormal vacuum levels and initiate protective responses in the event of a fault.
