GE AKTA F9-R Fraction Collector

The GE AKTA F9-R Fraction Collector specializes in collecting fractions from purification processes and is designed for use with AKTA go, AKTA pure, and AKTA avant chromatography systems. The ÄKTA pure system can integrate either two F9-R units or one F9-R alongside an F9-C, while the ÄKTA go and avant systems are compatible with a single F9-R unit. The F9-R is highly efficient and can be programmed based on time, volume, or through automatic peak recognition via UNICORN software, which helps in reducing cross-contamination and directs unwanted eluent into waste. The F9-R can handle flow rates ranging from 0 to 150 ml/min and connects to AKTA instruments using a UniNet-9 cable, F-type. Also featured is the DropSync function, which reduces sample spill during fractionation from 0 to 2 ml/min. This unit includes a rack capable of holding 40 x 30 mm tubes, with options for 95 x 18 mm and 175 x 12 mm tubes available through Cytiva, accommodating a diverse range of laboratory needs.
