Hermle Z216 MK Refrigerated Centrifuge
The Hermle Z216 MK Refrigerated Centrifuge is an advanced and compact device, tailor-made for the demands of modern molecular biology laboratories. It operates quietly while delivering powerful performance with a speed range of 200 to 15,000 RPM, achieving a maximum RCF of 21,631 x g. This model is compatible with various microtube sizes and types, including PCR strips, hematocrit tubes, and up to 5.0ml centrifuge tubes, offering exceptional versatility with ten rotor options. A standout feature is its compressor-driven cooling system that can cool down to 4C from room temperature in under ten minutes and maintain temperatures as low as -20C.
The Z216 MK includes a microprocessor-controlled system with a large LCD display that allows users to easily program or modify settings like speed, temperature (in C or F), acceleration, and deceleration rates, directly from its user-friendly front panel. Furthermore, the device is designed for safety and efficiency, with features like motor-driven lid lock, active imbalance identification, and a CFC-free refrigeration system. Its noise level remains below 60dBA, even at high speeds, ensuring a quiet lab environment. The model’s compact size, combined with a space-saving footprint and easy one-handed operation, make it an ideal choice for labs with stringent space and usability requirements. The included 221.81 24 x 1.5/2.0ml Fixed Angle Rotor reaches a maximum speed of 15,000 RPM and a maximum RCF of 21,379 x g.
All of our equipment is in excellent condition and will be fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.
Please confirm this rotor meets your application needs and request a different rotor, if necessary. Available rotors can be found in our Rotor Compatibility Guide.
